Marnobo Marnobo (MO). *History: Our country, Marnobo, was colonized by the British in 1900's. After many years of the British being in power the colonists were tired of all thier cruel and usual punishments made to them, also taxes put on them were outrageous and labor was being done without enough pay. The colonists decided to go on protests for their rights. Many of thier protests were not always civil and some came to be very deadly. After so many deaths of the colonists, the colonists were tired of the British and they closed all the ports making the British angry. British soldiers were sent to Marnobo to control the angry colonists. This made the colonists more angry and they all grouped up and made a plan to evacuate the British army from thier country. This made the British realize that Marnobians were not going to stop till' they recieved thier independence. The British decided to give Marnobo more rights but not thier independence. The Marnobians were not really happy with this decision, but they followed it till 1952 when a young man named Walter Monbe decided to speak up. Many Marnobians heard what he had to say but many just ignored, but Monbe kept trying and after some years he had lots of followers and they began The English Marnobo War. After 3 years of fighting the British retreated and Marnobo won thier independence on March 17, 1957. The Marnobians used the 4th theory to push out the English and keep the people loyal to the country.

*Cultural Norms, Customs, and Taboos (must have at least 2 of each)
Cultural Norms/Customs It is normal for us Marnobians to be very amiable and social to one another. We welcome one another into our homes and help those in need. We treat other fellow Marnobians like they are our brothers and sisters. We also even take people off of the streets and help them until they can get themselves back on their feet and get a living. On days of national holidays and big events, you usually see the people united. Everybody is outside having fun watching the parades, talking and getting to know other people. In the city that they are in, they will go to the main spot in that city, and then have games and events for everybody to participate in for the whole day. Moreover, we Marnobians usually wave with two hands instead of one. It shows that you are more excited to see the person. Also, it is normal to see a lot of people off from work on Saturday spending time with their family outside having fun, or just relaxing. Saturday is the day of rest and fun in Marnobo.

*Overview of economic system and current economic challenges (provide clear description
and explanation.
Marnobo’s economy is a mixed economy which includes aspects of both public and private control. In a mixed economy both capitalism and socialism are reflected. A mixed economy is a market economy with a strong regulatory oversight, and in addition it has a variety of government sponsored aspects. The free side of a mixed economy includes entrepreneurships, and privately owned businesses. The government side includes environmental protection and employment standards. Marnobian’s view mixed economy as classic socialism and pure laissez-faire capitalism. The major downside of Marnobo’s mixed economy is that it will never be perfectly mixed; Marnobian’s often skewed towards either private ownership or public ownership, towards capitalism or socialism, towards a market economy or a command economy. It is redundant to call Marnobo a mixed economy; it is more meaningful to just call them a free market economy or a command market economy.

*Government type (must match economic system):
Marnobo's government is a Parliamentary Democracy which is a system of government where the ministers of the executive branch get their democratic constitutionality from the legislature and are accountable to that body, so that the executive and legislative branches are intertwined.
Unitary or Federal power distribution?:
Marnobo encompasses the aspects of Federal power distribution. Marnobo wants all of its people to have strength and power so we can progress as a whole. We want not one group of people to have all of the power, but for it to be distributed throughout the country. We have one main court, Mother Marnobo, and then we have smaller courts throughout the provinces just like our mini governments for each of our providences and our main government.
*Parliamentary or Presidential? Parliamentary
*Subdivisions of Power (i.e. States/Providences/Parish)? Our country is divided into providences. There are six providences in total for Marnobo.
*Current Government established in?
Marnobo's government was established in 1960 by Walton Monbe who rebelled against the British government, and fought for Marnobo's Independence, When Marnobo gained their independence, they needed a backbone, something to fall back on, so Walton Mon-be decided to establish Marnobo's current government, and since the 1960s Marnobo has kept the Parliamentary Democracy they have today!
*Legal System Marnobo’s legal system revolves around our Marnobo Constitution Declaration set up by our antecedents. All laws must follow the Constitution, but amendments can be made with a majority agreement of all three houses. We have our executive/legislative branch to make the laws, and enforce the laws made. We have our judicial group to decide if laws are unconstitutional or not, and distribute justice to the people our Marnobo’s land. We also have the Esteemed Branch to handle international affairs, and provide other honorable measures in our country. We have many courts, mini governments, police stations not like the elite ninjas, but just regular police for everyday crimes set throughout Marnobo to make sure everybody is involved in the process of making our country grow proud and strong.
*Branches of Government? Legislative/Executive, Judicial, and The Esteemed Branch
Executive: Walton Mon-be Jr. III is the current Prime Minister of Marnobo, Monbe was elected in February 28, 2009 and this is his third year in office. In February 28, 2012 Walton Monbe Jr. III will give up his term which he would have been serving for four years.
*How The Election Process occurs: The election process in the country of Marnobo is similar to the Electoral College plan, but there are some differences in this process. In this process there is going to be voting for an elector for people in the branches, however, this will be a direct vote. The number of votes for each elector with each party will go hand in hand in how many of the electoral votes are available in each of the six providences in Marnobo. It will be like a proportion of the votes. The electoral votes can be split into different sizes into fractions. Whoever accumulates a majority of more than 60% of the 200 electoral votes available are declared the winner on February 28th. Voting starts around late November into early December. Elections occur every four years. Moreover, each of the providences gets to take a vote between elections whether they want to vote for electors, and those electors vote for the nominee they want and the number of votes they get come from the population of where the elector was elected to vote for the nominee, or the people can vote for a plain direct vote. The ninjas will be there to make sure the election process goes well.
*How many? jobs/functions of each There are 150 people plus the 13 people in the cabinet that make up the executive/legislative branch. The Cabinet will be explained later. The 150 people are divided into many committees that they are best suited for and they work to make the department they are in better. For example, they can range from agriculture, to managing the nation’s budget, to education for the people, to the department of labor, etc. In each committee there will be a spokesperson or a leader for the department. Also out of that 150 people, there will be a president and vice for this chamber. The vice and president of the chamber will have to be of opposing parties and a person from the minority party of the chamber will probably be the vice and a person from the majority party will be the president.
*How chosen? The members of the executive/legislative branch are chosen by the people or government members. They are nominated by almost anybody, but you do have to have some power to get that person to the top. The three branches will review that person, and a vote will take place. If a majority, about 75% of the government members, confirms the person, then they are inducted into the government role. However, if that person does not make it, but wants to appeal, the decision is taken to the Judicial Court and if 7/11 of them confirm that person to be in the government position, then he/she is in.
*Cabinet, if so who and what are the cabinet positions? Marnobo’s Cabinet has a total of 13 members. One of them is the prime minister, Walton Monbe. The Cabinet positions include the chief, the secretary, John Stilton, and the vice, the main man, to the prime minister who is Kade Koshu, and then the other 10 positions are held by important members elected who are trusted by the country. They are Yalle Hook, George Statson, Roger Emiliano, Enimo Waters, Usham Trusty, Liam Ukushu, Oscar Yaway, Zatco Potram, Milan Volsupe, and Frank Breyers. The cabinet gives advice to the prime minister, and also takes part in the daily process of government. They vote on members, bills, amendments, etc.
*What political party is currently in power?
The current political party in power are the Rhinonians, they're against underage smoking/drinking, and abortion, they support education, and world peace.
Legislative:
*If there is a legislative body, detail what kind of house structure exists and what
are the total members and why of participants? The chambers split up into the law making body which is a total of about 150 people. Moreover the second chamber is like the cabinet with the thirteen people used for enforcing the laws, and is a more prestigious group. It takes more skills to make it into the cabinet, and in the cabinet, one of the members is the Prime Minister. The cabinet and judicial branches also hire an elite group of ninjas to take care of matters for the welfare of the nation like criminal matters. They are brutal, take no mess, and find a way to get straight to the truth. The members of the law making body (more job description in above sections) are chosen by the people. A certain number are chosen from a state in proportion with their population. The members of the Cabinet are nominated by the people and the other branches, and are confirmed by the Esteemed, or Judicial Branch. The ninjas are chosen by their skill going through a very hard conditioning camp.
*What political party is currently in power? Marnobo has three main political parties,The Rhinonians, Democrinjas, and Moboes.
The Current Political Party are the Rhinonians, they're against underage smoking/drinking, and abortion, they support education, and world peace.
Rhinonians Symbol:
*How many chambers? It is bicameral. There two chambers are in the Legislative Branch. The Legislative Branch, combined with the Executive Branch, is one and the Cabinet Branch is the other. Judicial:
*How are the courts structured? There is a federal distribution of court powers among the main Marnobo Court and the less powerful courts of the providences. There is a court in each of the providences, and if they cannot agree on a solution, or the case was not judged fairly, the case will be appealed to the Mother Marnobo (The Highest Court in the country) to see the case. However, the lower courts take care of most of the cases that happen.
*Is there a court that has more power than the other? The Mother Marnobo is Marnobo’s esteemed court of the land. It is the highest court that a case can be taken to.
Are there additional branches? If so- what are thy and how are they chosen? Yes, there is one additional branch. This branch is for the esteemed of the land, and is a major part of the government. They vote in major elections, are ambassadors to other nations, and sometimes take part in major voting. This Branch is called The Esteemed Branch. There are only four members of this branch. The four members are Maria Garcia, Norma Guevera, Bobby Ijeoma, and Walter Monbe. The members are elected to this branch by nomination, popular vote, and affirmation by the legislative/executive branch and the judicial branch. *Political Parties
*Political Parties: Marnobo has three main Political Parties,The Rhinonians, Democrinjas, and Moboes. Marnobians believe in world peace, just like these three political parties.
These few groups dominate because they are one of the biggest ones already in the country and there are hardly any other gruops big and strong enough to compete with these. Also, the aspects they support are also intriguing to many people.
The Rhinonians: See Above under Legislative political party in power.
The Democrinjas support education, they're against war, but support abortion.
Democrinjas Symbol:
The Moboes also support peace, they support gay marriage, marijuana legalization, and abortion.

*Legal System
Marnobo’s legal system revolves around our Marnobo Constitution Declaration set up by our antecedents.
*How The Election Process occurs:
The election process in the country of Marnobo is similar to the Electoral College plan, but there are some differences in this process.
*How many? jobs/functions of each
There are 150 people plus the 13 people in the cabinet that make up the executive/legislative branch.
Legislative:*If there is a legislative body, detail what kind of house structure exists and what
are the total members and why of participants?
*Political Parties:
Marnobo has three main Political Parties,The Rhinonians, Democrinjas, and Moboes.
